I am very pleased to hear Alpha Eta alumni and Beta Theta Pi General Fraternity are having discussions to plan the re-colonization of the fraternity on campus. The relationship between Beta Theta Pi and Denison is longstanding and mutually important. We have many Alpha Eta alumni who care deeply about their college and fraternity. We also have many resources at the college dedicated to assisting our fraternities. By Fall Semester 2004 all members of Beta Theta Pi who were on campus at the time the general fraternity was suspended and disbanded, will have graduated. At that point, the chapter will be eligible to return to campus.
