I want to share some sad news and some terrifically good news with all Alpha Eta Beta alumni. First is the very sad news that our beloved and highly respected brother, Richard R. “Misty” Shoop ’40, Colonel USAF (ret.), passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2002. On April 13, many friends, family members and Betas joined together at Yellow Springs, Ohio, for “A Celebration of Misty’s Life.”
