Brent Osborn graduated from Denison with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. During his four years at Denison, this two sport athlete captained both the Big Red football squad and the DU lacrosse team. He lettered all four years in football and was the leading rusher and scorer during the 1961 season. Osborn also totaled an impressive 846 total yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season. He was voted as the team’s MVP during his senior year.
He also lettered four years for the Big Red lacrosse team and led the team in points and goals in 1961. Brent was also the team’s leading goal scorer as a senior. He garnered such awards as team MVP, first-team All-Midwest and honorable mention All-American. His 56 career goals rank him tied for 43rd on DU’s all-time list. Osborn was a member of the Denison chapter Beta Theta Pi fraternity and served as house president in 1962.
Upon graduation, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. In 1968, Osborn received his master’s degree in business and finance from the University of Oregon. He attended the Graduate Real Estate Institute at The Ohio State University in 1978, and in 1980, he became president of Property One, Inc.
