Celebrating 155 Years

The Alpha Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi is celebrating the 155th anniversary of its charter at Denison on September 8 – 10, 2023. The weekend’s activities are planned to observe, honor, and remember the legacy of Denison’s “men of principle,” as well as look forward to the dynamic future of the chapter on campus. Brothers, along with family members and friends of the chapter, are invited to join the celebration!

Cost for alumni and friends for the weekend (excluding golf) is $40 per individual. $20 helps support a current member of Beta.

You won’t want to miss this landmark event in our chapter’s long and celebrated history!

For on-campus events, parking will be available in the Reese~Shackelford Common parking garage.

Tentative Schedule of Events

Friday, September 8

8 p.m. — Drinks in Granville (casual attire)

Saturday, September 9

9 a.m. — Golf at Denison Golf Club , 555 Newark Granville Road. Only 16 spots available for 9 holes. There will be separate green fees for this event ($40 to golf, not including equipment rental).

11 a.m. — Campus Tour

12 – 3 p.m. — Beta House Open House + BBQ (casual attire)

5 p.m. — Pre-Dinner Reception in The Nest, Slayter Third Floor. (Business/formal attire)

6 p.m. — Beta Theta Pi Reunion Dinner in The Nest, Slayter Third Floor. (Business/formal attire)

10 p.m. — Concert at the Beta House (casual attire)

Sunday, September 10

10 a.m. — Chapter at the Beta House. Open to brothers and chapter alumni only. Followed by Beta open house. (business casual)
