Dold Family Donates Old Alpha Eta Memorabilia

The Alpha Eta chapter’s rich history is illuminated in the collection of items donated to the chapter by Bob Dold ‘91. Dold dropped off several boxes of books, archival materials, and photographs dating back as far as 1917 and telling the history of the Alpha Eta chapter. These items were collected by Dold’s father, Robert Dold ‘60, who led the Lanson Stage Curtis Memorial Association for several years. Included in the items was a composite photo of the chapter from 1917, several copies of Francis Shepardson’s books covering the history of Alpha Eta, and plenty of photographs from over the years. The Dold family has a long history in Alpha Eta, with relatives extending back to C. Norman Dold, class of 1921. Be on the lookout for a deeper dive into these items and their histories in future editions.

Thank you to Bob Dold ‘91 and Robert Dold ‘60 for helping these items find their way back to the Beta House, where they will be displayed and stored for brothers and alumni to view for years to come!
